Abstract

The purpose of this study was to survey validity of designed test for measurement of anaerobic power in kharazmi university basketball players on the base of running test(RAST). 14 basketball players (age= 22٫43±2٫17 year, height=75٫17 9٫5cm, weight 69٫05±9٫48kg, BMI=22٫21±2٫43kg٫m) were participated in this study. Mean, maximum, and minimum of anaerobic power and fatigue indices have been assessed by both tests. in order to analys the correlation between power indices and physiological indices (blood lactate and heart rate), person correlation had been used also t-test used to compare tests in physiological indexes. differences between (physiological) blood lactate and heart rate in both tests assessed. The result indicated that there was a significant correlation between maximum, mean, and minimum of power(r-0٫577 p-0٫031, r-0٫749 p-0٫001, r-0٫621 p-0٫018) and was no significant correlation between fatigue indices obtained by designed test and RAST test(r-0٫014). The result showed that there was no a significant correlation between heart rate immediately after doing both tests(r-0٫237). There was no significant difference between heart rate immediately after doing both testes(p=0٫432). There was significant correlation between blood lactate after 2 min of doing both test (r-0٫744,p-0٫002).
