Effect of medium and high dose of caffeine on response of inflammatory factors after exhaustive exercise in overweight women

Abstract

The aim this study was investigated the effect of different doses of caffeine on some inflammatory factors in overweight women after exhaustive exercise. 12 inactive overweight women were selected aged 32.5±2.61 years and BMI 27.28±3.63 (kg/m2). This study was conducted in 3 steps and 2 months and with observance of subject’s menopause and in the fasting state. In the first session (the first month of menopause), subjects consumed caffeine for placebo, in the second stage (menopause second month) subjects consumed caffeine for average caffeine (6 mg/kg) and the third stage (after a week of second stage) subjects consumed caffeine for high levels (9 mg/kg) and carried Bruce exhaustive tests out 30 minutes after each dose of caffeine. After each stage, were taken at the subjects' blood samples. Data were analyzed by using repeated ANOVA and post hoc (LSD) at the significant level (p0.05), as well as high levels of caffeine consumption had no effect on CRP of overweight inactive women after exhaustive exercise (P>0.05).
